Delivery and Returns

Thank you for buying from MexArt. We aim to provide the highest quality works of collectible Mexican art, with customer service to match. We’re confident that you’ll be delighted with your purchase.

Quality Control

All pieces are quality checked by the artist, and then by us.

The items we sell are hand-made works of art, and as such may have imperfections in brush strokes or wooden surfaces. It’s this hand-made quality that gives each piece its unique form and value as a collector’s item.

Wood Carvings: To prevent insect infestation, some wooden pieces are also treated with petrol as part of the production process.


We deliver to UK and USA addresses. Collection in person from London may also be possible, contact us for details. If wish to buy an item but live outside of these regions, please contact us.

To UK addresses: we send all items fully insured, signed for and tracked. In most cases, unless otherwise stated on the product page, you’ll receive the item(s) within 3-4 working days.

If the package appears damaged in any way (e.g., if it is open, crushed, or has signs of water damage), we strongly advise that you refuse the delivery. If you do accept a damaged delivery, you should write on the card (or electronic device if possible) “goods received but not inspected”.

To USA addresses: we send items signed for and tracked. In most cases, unless otherwise stated on the product page, you’ll receive the item(s) within 7-9 working days. However, we are unable to obtain insurance cover for USA deliveries, so unfortunately we cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage.  

If the box appears to be in good condition and not damaged in any way as described above, you can be confident that the contents will be in the same mint condition that we sent them to you.


We take great care to ensure that your order will arrive in mint condition, as follows:

• The item is wrapped in tissue paper in order to protect its surfaces.
• The item is placed in a strong box, surrounded by padding. This provides excellent protection against mishandling of the package.
• Please keep the packaging in case it’s necessary to return the item.

Damaged Items

The item listings feature photographs from different angles in order to reveal all the details. This way you can see if anything is not to your satisfaction before buying. If in doubt, get in touch and we can provide further photos and information.

If you discover an imperfection that wasn’t apparent in any of the pictures or mentioned in the item description, contact us within 14 days of delivery with photos and details. After we’ve approved the return, we’ll arrange to have the item returned at our expense. Items should be returned in their original packaging. We’ll issue a full refund once we receive the item back in the same condition that it was sent.

If you change your mind

We can offer a full refund within 14 days of the delivery date. Please contact us and let us know that you wish to return. The items must be received by us in the same condition they were sent. We require that you return items fully insured and tracked, and return delivery charges will be at your expense. If items are returned uninsured, we reserve the right to charge the full value of the piece should it be lost or damaged.
